Our best guess is that she was born on July 1, 2004. Kristel was a feral kitten. Lucky for her and her brother, a good friend of ours was taking care of their mom. After they were born, our friend brought mom and her 2 kids in and put them in a screened porch so they would be safe and sound. We weren't looking for another cat, but since she was spotted we knew we had to keep her.

Kristel is one of the sweetest cats we have ever met. Which is a good thing since she needs special care. Unfortunately, Kristel is a CH kitty. CH is Cerebellar Hypoplasia. She is mildly affected and has good motor skills, but has trouble eating on her own. We have to feed her canned food twice a day. It's time consuming, but we really don't mind. She also has some vision problems so she doesn't jump up on things. In some ways that's really nice.
