A good friend found Brandy one night on her way home from work. Poor baby was skinny and very scared. She took the kitten home for the night. Once home she examined the kitten and found that she had a relatively new incision on her belly. She was hopeful that she would be able to get the kitten back to her family. She guessed that the kitten was around 8 weeks old.

The next day she posted signs and waited. After almost 2 weeks no one had called to claim the baby. The kitten now needed a permanent home. She needed to find a foster home for the kitten since her dogs hate cats and she felt unsafe keeping the baby around her house any longer. Even though we were in the process of moving we offered to foster Brandy. Our dogs were use to having cats in the house and our current cat, Jewel, had been living with another cat until he died.

Brandy fit right in. Jewel was really excited about having a new feline playmate and the dogs thought the new kitty was pretty cool.  Brandy never showed any fear of the dogs.

Brandy is now a very happy, spoiled housecat.
